Silos

On our way back into Madrid, we stopped in a small town and explored for a bit. It had a fun bridge and a pretty church. We got there relatively early in the morning, and left before anything had opened. We then moved on to Silos, another very small town, but one which has a monastery where you can listen to Gregorian chant in a religious service for free. It was fun hearing the chant, and overall a pretty low key day.

Where the monk choir sang. I wish recordings had been permitted

  1. Maybe you can just purchase a CD of the monks, thus supporting them AND enjoying a quality recording!
