Salamanca: The University

Salamanca's university is ANCIENT. It was originally founded in 1134. It is the oldest university in Spain, and the third oldest in Europe. It has been continuously running since then. It was a little sad since they are currently restoring the facade, and the facade is very famous. It is the place where the feasibility of Columbus's voyage was discussed, where Miguel de Cervantes, Hernan Cortes, and San Juan de la Cruz studied, and where Unamuno taught. It was really cool walking halls that were hundreds of years old, and while we couldn't see the facade in front, it was still a beautiful building.
